BLADES ALUMNI IS BORN

How fitting it was that a Blades Alumni be formed for the 40th anniversary of the Junior Hockey Club in Blenheim. Richard Rumble, Lee Attewell, Ryan Jones, Dave O’Brien and Doug Hodgson have made this happen. It’s been a very fruitful year with 74 former players, coaches, executive and volunteers paying a yearly ($10) or a lifetime ($100) membership fee.

The objective of the Alumni is to assist the Blades in selling their raffle tickets and to give other financial support (ice sponsorship, advertisement, awards, etc.) The other goal is to have some social functions such as alumni hockey games, steak nights, Blades golf tournament.

People in Blenheim and the surrounding community have kept Junior Hockey alive this long and now it’s time for the Alumni to show their support. Let’s help keep it going for another forty years!
